The Samogitian Diocese Museum was established in 1999. in the late Baroque building, former palace of Varniai Samogitian seminary, built in 1770. by the efforts of Bishop John Dominyk Lopacinski. The Samogitian Diocese Museum presents one of the two former Lithuanian dioceses in the 15th-20th centuries. pr. - Samogitian (Medininkai) Diocese, the center of which for almost 450 years was Varniai, which occupied a special place in the religious, cultural and political life of Lithuania and left a significant trace in the history of the country.
- On Mondays and Tuesdays only pre-registered groups of visitors are accepted.
- On the last Sunday of each month, visitors to the museum are free.
