Age of participants: preschoolers, students, adults.
Aim: to get acquainted with old fabrics, their purpose, to recognize different weaving methods, to understand the principles of weaving.
Theoretical part: the woven fabrics are woven in different ways, the ancient fabrics in the hut are inspected.
Practical part: weaving mats from reeds in the yard, playing “weaving looms”, participants weave the cloth with weaving looms.
Duration: 45 min.
The session is led by a man. museologist Salomėja Udovičienė.
