Landowners Jonas Žukauskas and Teresė Žukauskienė in 1807. and he built a wooden church, and gave it a wall of land. It was a branch of Luoke parish. 1924 a parish was established. 1934 the church is painted, the altars are renovated.
Church of rectangular plan, with a tower. It has 3 altars. Cemetery fence stone masonry. It has a belfry.
