Telšiškis Zigmantas Goštautas, who has worked in the Nature Protection Tent Committee, after consulting with Viktoras Bergas, a well-known cynologist at the Faculty of Nature of Vilnius University, started the hard work of breeding in breeding this breed. Zigmantas Goštautas succeeded in breeding this breed, but he did not receive the first Lithuanian Hound exhibition, he died in 1980 and the exhibition took place in 1981.
