1996 An ethnographic museum was established in the gentleman's house of Biržuvėnai manor. The founders of the museum are sisters Laima and Aldona Simonavičiūtė. After 2004 Part of the exhibitors were saved and placed in Biržuvėnai school. 2005 in the summer the ethnographic museum was restored. The most important expositions in it are: iconography, culture, education, ethnography, folk art, fragments of Lithuanian history, village history, noblemen Gorskis in Biržuvėnai, textiles, numismatics, exile, resistance, old prints, Soviet period photographs of treasures found after the fire.
