We organized the exam together with EUROPE DIRECT Telšiai, therefore funding for the exam is from Europe
Commission funding for the EUROPE DIRECT Telšiai project and upon application and submission
winners - from the Lithuanian Culture Council.
In order to increase the dissemination of information and a wider circle of participants, we also used the project activities
partners - surrounding areas tourism information centers, culture, education centers, Samogitia
National Park and Varniai Regional Park, Samogitian Museum Alka, Samogitian Culture
society.
The main idea of the exam was to create short videos featuring various topics about
Samogitia would be spoken by famous people of our country, and we, the organizers, would find it in those conversations
hidden questions of the "Samogitian exam". Preparing footage with the founder of Bear TV
Marijonas Breitmozerius, we were helped, filmed and the secrets of Samogitia were revealed by cafes
Vaiva Klingerienė, owner of Senamiestis, guide from Šilalė, librarian and politician Rima Norvilienė,
museologist, enlightener, leader of the Samogitian Nobility Society and chairman of the Samogitian Cultural Society
Stasys Kasparavičius, guide Laura Jonikė, canon Andriejus Sabaliauskas, Samogitian cultures
Andrius Dacius, chairman of the Telšiai district of the society, and young Samogitians - schools of Europe
Representatives of the Parliament are representatives of Telšiai Žemaitė Gymnasium.
The game, which took place on December 2, contained 20 questions with 4 answer options about the history of Samogitia,
heritage, famous people, food and its preparation, the identity and uniqueness of Samogitia. Although next to wrong
correct answers were also given to the questions, the general ones of the "Samogitian exam" were correct
The average number of answers to the question is 41 percent. This percentage allows you to conclude that exam
the questions were not easily shed. But there is always an opportunity for improvement for us, the organizers, and
for participants: the questions are designed in such a way that the answers to them provide information or knowledge
new things about Samogitia, and after counting the results of the exam and announcing the winners, “Samogitian
exam ”can be played again at https://www.zemaiciuegzaminas.lt/ and finally find out which ones
the answers are correct.
The day when the "Samogitian exam" was held for the prizes, the game from the phones,
PC and tablet players connected 3678 times. Participants who have completed the tasks in one way or another -

The vast majority of exam participants are from the territory of Lithuania. Also playing from Norway, Germany,
United Kingdom, Sweden, Belarus, United States, Denmark, Iceland, etc. Played
and Dzuks, Samogitians, and other Lithuanians. Members of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, members of municipal councils and companies also played
or groups of organizations, and students.
When planning the course, methodology and activities of the "Samogitian Exam", creating video recordings, we did not believe that
the exam will receive a lot of feedback, comments, posts and a large number of participants. O we,
after reading the comments, hearing the feedback from the players, analyzing the results, we already think about what it would be like
can be improved or done differently. So, if we think about it, there will be a sequel. After all, our Patria Una is so
there is still a lot to do.
