Lūkstas is a lake in Žemaitija, in the territory of Telšiai district, 2 km southwest of Varnii, in the Varnii regional park. It is the second largest lake in Žemaitija, unique in that amber is found in it. The ice bowl is formed in the place of the former ice block. The length of the coastline is 20.5 km. The north-west shore is flat, the north-east (Debesnų plekė) and south shores are marshy. Forests mainly grow on the shores of the lake. Sietuvos, Gardena, Domantas, Ungurys and three other streams flow into it. Varnelė flows out of the lake; the lake belongs to the Venta basin. The area of the pool is 76.3 km². The flow rate of the lake is 77%. On the northwestern shore, the atabrad is sandy, elsewhere it is covered with grassy vegetation.
The area is 991 ha. The length from north to south is 6.15 km, the maximum width is 3.45 km. Surface altitude 154.7 m. The maximum depth is 7 m, the average depth is 3.6 m.
